In 2017 I left my career as an Art Teacher and created a tranquil treatment space in the garden of my home.
My path into this work was shaped by my own experiences. I found myself in a very lonely space, unsure how to bring back my absent cycles and later living with the fear of another miscarriage. The grief, uncertainty and emotional toll of that time changed me deeply.

It was during this period that I began searching for answers and support beyond what I had previously known. That journey eventually led me to Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and after the birth of my second daughter I began formally studying with the Xian Tian College of Chinese Medicine.
Over three years of formal training, followed by many years of continued professional development and study, my passion for supporting women’s health and fertility continued to grow.
I am incredibly proud to have completed the Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture with Naava Carman, an extensive programme integrating both Western and Chinese medicine approaches to support natural and medically assisted fertility. I am also a member of the British Acupuncture Federation and The Acupuncture Association.
Alongside this, more than ten years as a Reiki teacher has given me tools to support the emotional and mental aspects of the fertility journey with deep compassion.

Being blessed with my family changed my perspective on life. I knew that when I came through that chapter I wanted to give something back — to create a space where others would not feel so alone while navigating their own journey.

Harwood Fertility is far more than a job to me. It is about holding space for people to feel supported, to share their fears, to find moments of calm, and to be gently guided through life’s transitions and challenges.
